This course prepares students for the CPE certificate, accepted worldwide as proof of a near-native command of the English language. Suitable for work, admission to higher bodies of education and emigration purposes. Students should allow several hours per week for homework, and regular writing assignments to be handed in for correction.
Cambridge Certificate examinations are organised by the British Council independently of Platform C. Information about the levels and exams can be obtained via www.britishcouncil.nl and via drs. Marianne Hendriksen. Enrolment is optional; examination fees are not included in the course fees. Advanced and Proficiency are also suitable for those wishing to sit the IELTS* academic papers. Extra practice material will be provided on application. For these courses an oral assessment is strongly recommended.
