Botanical drawing has been in the spotlight for centuries and is attracting a growing audience. In this course you will learn a lot about the shapes and structure of plants and flowers. We always draw from real plants and never from photographs. From preliminary studies, botanical drawings/illustrations emerge. These can be elaborated with color. Using specific assignments and many modern and historical illustrations, you will become acquainted with this special art form. You will discover the wonderful beauty of the bird of paradise flower, tropical fruits and buds. The material is included.
