Learn to spin and mix music on a DJ set and independently give fat performances at a party full of crowds. Create your own remixes and mash-ups and let the audience go wild to your self-mixed music. Spin at school parties, birthdays and for your friends and family. This course is not only instructive but also a lot of fun because you can start making music and performing right away.
What to expect.
For whom. 8 to 12 years old
No experience necessary, you will learn everything during the course.
How long is a class? A lesson lasts 45 minutes. Every Friday for 10 weeks (except vacations).
What to buy yourself?
What is present at Platform C?
Yes. 15-20 minutes per week discovering or collecting music that we will practice with. If in possession of your own DJ set, repeat lessons covered at home for optimal results and progress.
Teacher will explain new techniques, skills and tricks each week after which students will work and experiment independently. At the end of the lesson we show each other how we are going to apply these and what variations on them are possible.

Expert lecturer - Shivan Yasin studied electronic music and audio engineering at the Haarlem Conservatory of Music and is currently working on various projects and with various artists.
Practical Experience - Shivan regularly organizes outdoor performances where students can independently display their learned material to a large audience.

What can you do afterwards?
Shivan Yasin learned to play piano and guitar as a small child, and at a later age he was introduced to electronic music. He has not changed his musical style since then. During his musical career, Shivan has had the opportunity to experience several highlights and receive awards. He currently works with various artists on a variety of projects and helps young DJs realize their dreams.
