In this course you will be introduced to the two Japanese scripts, 'the hiragana' and 'katakana'. You will learn to converse and listen, and attention will be paid to pronunciation and grammar. During the lessons you will also learn about Japanese culture and customs so that by the end of the course you will have a good basic knowledge of both the Japanese language and culture.
