Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East and North Africa generally use two types of Arabic, Classical Arabic and the dialect of the country itself. Classical Arabic is known as Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) or al-fosha, and is the predominant language. It is the language of the government, official bodies, literature, the press, education and the educated class.
In this course, you begin by learning the Arabic alphabet. Then you will learn to construct simple sentences and hold conversations.
