Learning to play the saxophone is a great adventure and the earlier you start, the more familiar you will become with that beautiful instrument. But if you are not yet so tall then a regular sax will soon be too heavy and also too fragile.

The Nuvo-J sax is a plastic sax, which is not heavy and can take a beating. But it is a real sax, with that nice curved shape and a real mouthpiece. It's a tough thing to show off and you can choose your own color!

The nuvo-J-sax course teaches you a lot of good habits that will be very useful when you want to start playing the saxophone. The transition to clarinet or flute is also possible, because the grips of the flute and clarinet are very similar to playing the nuvo-J-sax.

You also receive so much general musical baggage in the lessons (rhythm, ear training, note reading) that should you choose a completely different instrument, you already have a nice basis to get started.
