Ever since I was a kid I've been busy on the pots and pans in my mother's kitchen. And when I heard 'Don't you forget about me' by the Simple Minds, with the amazing drum fill by Mel Gaynor, I knew: I want to be a drummer!
Drum heroes: Jack DeJohnette, Steve Gadd, Jeff Porcaro, Bill Stewart, Brian Blade, Bernard Purdie. I am also especially a big fan of jazz guitar and jazz guitarists. Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Bill Frisell are musical heroes of mine in that regard.
