Scheme 1: Amstelveen pass for children and adults<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Do you have a low income? Then you can apply for the Amstelveen Pass. The arrangements<\/a> are available to families up to 150% of the Statutory Social Minimum (WSM). With an Amstelveen Pass, you get a 50% discount on courses at Platform C. This applies to both adults and children. Please note that Dutch language classes are excluded from the discount.<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Apply for the Amstelveen Pass through the Municipality of Amstelveen. Click here for more information and applications.<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Please contact the administration by phone before registering. After that, you can register.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Scheme 2: Allowance for children aged 4 to 17 years.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Do you have a low income and children between the ages of 4 and 17? Then you can receive an allowance to (partially) cover the costs of cultural activities, such as music, dance or drawing lessons. You can receive up to \u20ac800 per child per 12 months.<\/p>\n

    How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Apply for reimbursement through the Municipality of Amstelveen. Click here for more information and applications<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Once you have received the refund, you can use the amount to pay the remaining balance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Stacking schemes: example<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The arrangements can be combined. Suppose your 8-year-old child wants clarinet lessons. The cost for group clarinet lessons is \u20ac725 per year.<\/p>\n

      Amstelveenpas: You get 50% discount on the cost. This reduces the amount from \u20ac725 to \u20ac362.50.<\/p>\n

      Reimbursement for child of 8: You can still receive \u20ac500 reimbursement.<\/p>\n

      With both arrangements combined, you end up paying nothing for clarinet lessons because the \u20ac500 fee covers the remaining cost of \u20ac362.50.<\/p>\n
