Young Urbanus is the festival in Amstelveen for young bands.
Saturday night, April 6, Young Urbanus will take place for the third time at the Noorddamcentrum Bovenkerk. Young Urbanus has become the hotspot for young bands in Amstelveen! Entrance is free. The first performance starts at 19:30. Full is full!
Big Time is also participating! Big Time is an acid-jazz band from Platform C that rehearses weekly under the direction of teacher Örjan Graafmans. The band performs regularly during the Popavonden.
In addition, the band played at the annual Town Square Festivals, participated in the Princess Christina Competition, and has been supporting Ntjam Rosie, "Miles Rock's" and Hans Dulfer at P60.
The group plays groovy music with various influences from jazz-rock, soul, pop and fusion.
The repertoire includes pieces by Incognito, Tower of Power, The Brecker Brothers and Stevie Wonder, among others.
