About Cultural Education in Amstelland
Under the label "Cultuureducatie Amstelland," Platform C offers teaching packages, learning pathways, and
performances for elementary and secondary schools commissioned by the municipalities of Aalsmeer,
Amstelveen, Uithoorn, and Ouder-Amstel. In addition, Cultuureducatie Amstelland brings together the
educational programs offered by regional cultural organizations. Every year, knowledge and
network meetings organized for representatives of the schools and the cultural
organizations. In addition to acting as a mediator between supply and demand, its role in education is also
a partner for schools in developing their cultural education programs. Cultuureducatie Amstelland is thus the leading regional partnership for cultural education in the Amstelland region. Since 2014, the organization has participated in the “Cultural Education with Quality” (CmK) program, and since 2021, it has served as the coordinating body for the Amstelland region.
As part of the “Quality in Cultural Education 2025–2028” program, Platform C is focusing on

in the fields of education and culture, in order to bring the cultural environment closer to the

Quality Cultural Education Advisor for Secondary and Elementary Schools (0.5 FTE)
The Quality Cultural Education Advisor for Secondary and Elementary Education connects schools and cultural organizations in the Amstelland region. You will organize and develop activities, programs, and events that strengthen the role of art and culture in education. You will also advise and guide schools in their cultural education efforts and share your knowledge about new developments in cultural education.
