A new series of CultuurKabaal classes will begin in September 2026 in the Bankras, Groenelaan, Keizer Karelpark, and Middenhoven neighborhoods. What’s on the schedule? Arts & Crafts, Singer-Songwriter, DJ, Guitar Lessons, Breakdance/Street Dance, Animation & Programming, Acting—depending on the location. How does registration work?
You can register yourself on our website and pay online right away. The class series starts immediately with the first lesson; there are no trial lessons.
Do you have an Amstelveenpas? Then you get 50% discount on the tuition. Send an email to pr@platform-c.nu or app 06-26264923 with a photo or scan of your Amstelveenpas. Then you will be given the option to sign up and pay half the fee.
Can't pay the tuition at all? Please also email pr@platform-c.nu or app 06-26264923. Together we will look for a suitable solution.

Description Lessons
Acting Lessons
During acting classes you will work on different skills such as improvisation, physical acting, text handling, use of voice, collaboration and character building. It depends on the stage of development on which acting skills we emphasize.
Animation and Programming
In 10 lessons, you'll program your own interactive animations and control robots. You will learn the basics of Scratch programming language and see that programming is not difficult at all. You will also build your own LEGOWeDo robot and make it drive around, lift and much more.
Arts & Crafts
Discover the artist in yourself! At Arts & Crafts you work with different materials and techniques. By doing a lot and looking at the work of famous artists you will learn what you can do and make what you like. Everything is possible: drawing, painting and sculpting.
DJ
You can make music with instruments, but also with digital equipment. Mixing songs smoothly is the DJ's main job, but the art of DJing encompasses much more. In this course you will learn all the ins and outs of DJing. Being able to read notes or play an instrument is not necessary.
Breakdancing
Breakdancing is a cool and energetic dance style that originated in hip-hop culture. During this workshop, you’ll learn various basic moves, such as footwork and freezes. It’s an active workshop for kids who love to move and want to learn new moves!
Singer-Songwriter
Do you have a lot of ideas in your head and want to turn them into songs? In the singer-songwriter classes you will learn how to write your own lyrics and make music to go with them.
Guitar
Get acquainted with the guitar and take your first steps as a guitarist! During this workshop, you’ll learn to play chords and rhythms and discover how to use them to make music. A fun workshop for kids who are curious about the guitar and want to learn to play music on their own!
