My name is Ella Botter and I am an oboe teacher at Platform C. I myself started playing the oboe at the age of eleven at the Leiden School of Music. It wasn't long before the oboe became an integral part of my life. I enjoyed playing with my peers in various youth orchestras and halfway through high school I transferred to the School for Young Talent in The Hague to take the preparatory course for the conservatory. After the Bachelor at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Ernest Rombout and Miriam Pastor Burgos and the Master at Codarts Rotterdam with Hans Wolters and Maarten Dekkers, I am now active as a freelance oboist with various professional ensembles and orchestras. In addition, I am part of the newly founded Ensemble Rustiek. I have a broad interest in everything to do with art and culture and I am certainly open to collaborate with other art disciplines and musical styles.
