Are you between the ages of 14 and 22 and super good at filming? This is your chance to show your creativity! Amstelveen is organizing a local film contest: Youth Film Festival Amstelveen (JFFA). The winners get to participate in the international REC Film Festival in our sister city Berlin-Schöneberg in September 2026.

Have you always wanted to know how a film is really made? In a short 2-hour workshop you will dive straight into the world of film and get to work!
- Script & Story: How to write a short and powerful story.
- Cast and Crew: Role assignment. Who do you need for a complete film team?
- Visual Storytelling: Learn how to tell a story without words with proper camerawork
- Shooting time: grab the camera and film your own scenes
- Editing: connect the dots and edit your images into a whole
At the end of the film workshop, you will have the basic knowledge to create your own masterpieces. Sign up for one of these two workshops:
