Target 

This course is ideal for enthusiasts ages 16 and up who are interested in the world of creative design and realization with 3D printing. Whether you are a student looking to improve your technical skills, a hobbyist who enjoys being creative, or a professional looking to expand your knowledge, this course provides a valuable introduction to 3D printing technologies. Whether you have never worked with 3D printing before or already have some experience, this course is suitable for all levels. 

Lesson duration and number of lessons 

  • Lesson duration: 2 hours, once a week 
  • Break: 15 minutes 
  • Number of lessons: 7 
  • Participants per group: a maximum of 12 

Teaching Materials 

Material costs:  

  • Led strip 9mm + wires (10 euros)  
  • Led adapter (10 euros)  
  • Basic holder (10 euros) 

 Self-purchase:  

  • Tape measure (Available at Action, Hornbach, etc.), to be purchased or brought after the first lesson. 

 Choice of 3D printing the designs: 

  • A: Having a design printed through a service point at your own cost. Cost depends on material and size ± €25 per print. The curriculum includes ±4 designs. Printing is optional.  
  • B: Optional to purchase your own 3D printer during the course. Cost depends on the type of printer. An entry-level printer costs about €300. We recommend a basic printer of about €475. Material costs are added to the printer: 1 kg spool of €25 is required during the course.
