You have been playing your instrument for a number of years now and gradually come to realize that you are indeed skilful, that you can rehearse new pieces reasonably independently, that after a performance you receive compliments on your beautiful playing, but that you don't actually know exactly how you do it all... In that case, the General Music Course can teach you a lot.

• You will learn the theory behind the notes;
• you learn to "hear" from your ear and notation in advance what you are going to play;
• you learn to sing cleanly and therefore play better cleanly on your instrument;
• you learn to listen to the sounds together, which benefits playing together with others;
• You learn how music is constructed;
• you learn to write down the notes of what you hear yourself;
• you learn to do musical activities simultaneously.

General Music Education is a year-long course. If there are enough applicants, we prefer to work in groups. In consultation with the teacher you will choose the form of teaching that suits you best.
