In this course you will learn to play the recorder step by step. We start with the basics so that you develop a good blowing technique. You will learn reading notes, you will practice with different styles of music (from classical to modern) and you will have the opportunity to compose yourself and to improvise. You can also play in the recorder ensemble and other ensemble groups, making music with fellow students and inspiring each other.
You will purchase your own recorder (in consultation with the teacher).
The textbook Recorder case 1 (ACM-254-NL) is the ideal start.
A small notebook Is useful for notes.
To move forward properly, is home practice important. Practicing for 25 minutes at least three times a week will help you learn faster and have more fun. The more often you play, the better you become.
The recorder lessons are interactive, with about 20% theory and 80% practice. For beginners, the main thing is a lot of doing: playing and listening. Without home study, development is slower, but by practicing regularly, you will notice rapid progress.
