During a Dutch course at C1.2 level you will learn to use the language in a more complex and fluent way. You already have a good knowledge of Dutch and you want to develop your language even further. You practice the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. In addition, we pay a lot of attention to expanding your vocabulary. Common mistakes in grammar will also be addressed. We will repeat difficult topics, such as word order, reflexive and separable verbs, and of course that little word "there. In addition, we will work with familiar expressions.

C1.2 Dutch course - The lessons 

You participate in this course together with other students who have mastered the C1.1 level. You will work with the book Dutch to perfection (chapters 5 to 8), the complete Dutch method for advanced non-native speakers. In the continuation course C.1.2 you have the opportunity to become even more proficient in the language by expanding vocabulary, expressions and word groups. In addition, you will work with the passive and separable verbs in combination with other verbs. You will also learn to make an argument, to give (even better) presentations, to inquire about the other person's opinion by asking and to give your own opinion. In addition, there is of course much attention to writing. Topics covered include philosophy and ethics, psychology, law, and people and technology.

Objectives - C1.2 Dutch course

• You will increase your vocabulary and refine your grammatical knowledge.
• You understand more complex conversations and are able to communicate clearly and distinctly yourself.
• You will learn how to present better, ask for the opinions of others and ask through. You will also learn to make a powerful speech.
• You listen attentively and participate very actively in conversations and discussions in Dutch also on complex and unfamiliar topics.
• With a minimum attendance of 80% and completing the homework, you can achieve Dutch communication skills at level C1.2.

Intake course Dutch

If this is your first Dutch course, we always start with a personal intake. This way you can be sure that you start at the right level. We always do the intake in person so that during the interview your knowledge, skills and wishes can be properly mapped out. After the intake the teacher will indicate in which course you can start.

If you are transferring from a course, you no longer need to schedule a separate intake. If you have taken a Dutch course elsewhere and ended up at a certain level, we recommend the personal intake first.
