In the Kidsdance / Dance Mix classes, children ages 6 to 9 are introduced to a variety of dance styles, including modern dance, jazz dance and street dance. Each class begins with an energetic warm-up, followed by technical exercises and creative improvisation. Then we work on hip and energetic choreography and finish with a cool-down.
These classes are varied, playful and challenging! One week we dance to well-known pop songs, the next to instrumental music to strengthen musicality and sense of rhythm. Through this mix, students discover their own dance style and develop self-confidence in movement.
What can you expect from the Kidsdance / Dance Mix course?
For children ages 6-8. No dance experience is necessary - anyone can participate!
Lesson duration: 1 hour
Number of lessons: 8 lessons
Bring your own: Tight, comfortable dancewear such as leggings or sports pants and a shirt or T-shirt (short/long sleeves).
No, there is no homework.
Classes are hands-on, interactive and full of movement.
