In brief

This advanced Classical Ballet course follows the principles of the Vaganova technique. You will work on your posture, technique, coordination, musicality and presentation. It is a complete class where you can further deepen your skills while having fun dancing!

Program

What to expect.

Warm-up at the barre, concluded with a stretching exercise
Exercises in the middle, such as balance (Adagio) and leaps (Allegro).
We are working on a dance combination across the diagonal (Grand pas).
The lesson ends with a bow (Reverence).

Target

This class is suitable for adults who already have extensive experience with classical ballet.

Lesson duration and number of lessons

Each lesson lasts one hour. You take 10 classes per block, spread over the school year. You must re-enroll yourself for each block.

Teaching Materials

There are no mandatory dress code. A ballet suit and tights are ideal, but leggings and a T-shirt that is not too wide are also good. Wear something in which you feel comfortable and your body is easily visible to the teacher. Ballet shoes are recommended.

Homework

There is no homework.

Working form during the course

The course is practically oriented, with many exercises.

Free participation in ensembles

Making music together is great fun and very educational. You can do that with us in one of the many ensembles! There are ensembles for different instruments, levels and compositions.
