Do you play the harp and would like to play with others, but prefer not to carry your harp all the time? Then this harp ensemble is perfect for you! Making music together becomes a lot easier at our location where the harps are already waiting for you. Under the inspired guidance of our harp teacher Lotje Meijer, you will work with other harpists on various pieces of music.
We focus on improving your musicality, sound balance, timing and listening to each other. Each session builds on these aspects, and the course often concludes with a small, fun presentation in which you implement what you have learned together.
This course is designed for adults ages 21 to 100 who already have some experience on the harp, with at least two to three years of lessons. Regardless of your current level, the musical parts are adapted so that everyone can play along comfortably.
The course includes 10 lessons, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes.
You must have a harp at home to practice the musical pieces.
It is important that you practice the pieces of music at home to be well prepared during lessons. We recommend spending about 30 minutes daily practicing.
Classes are hands-on, focusing on playing together and applying learned techniques immediately.

Lotje Meijer grew up in a musical family and experienced from an early age how enriching and valuable it is to make music together. With this course, she strives to make ensemble playing accessible and approachable for adult harpists as well.
