Treat yourself to 3 hours a week all to yourself in this sculpting course. It is wonderful to work in stone on your own sculpture. It is also possible to work in clay, wax or wood.
Learn how to make your own sculpture out of stone, clay, wax or wood. After the course, you can be happy and proud of your own creation. This course gives you the opportunity to develop your creative side and create something unique.
Everyone is welcome, with or without experience. The guidance is simple and given by a professional sculptor and teacher, allowing everyone to work at their own pace.
Classes last 3 hours and there are a total of 12 lessons per course. This gives you enough time to develop your skills and achieve a beautiful end result.
You will need to purchase your own stone. The teacher can advise you which stone is suitable and what to look for when purchasing. Tools are available from Platform C.
There is no required homework. Sometimes the instructor does give advice to delve further into certain artists or forms to get inspiration for your own image.
For 100%, the course consists of practice. This means you will spend a lot of time actually sculpting and polishing your chosen stone.
The instructor is a passionate professional sculptor with at least 35 years of teaching experience. She offers individual guidance and helps you discover your own formal language.
By the end of the course, you will have sculpted and polished your own sculpture from stone, clay, wax or wood.
Gabrielle is an inspired sculptor with vast experience working with all types of stone, wax, clay and wood. Her passion and expertise make her the ideal facilitator for this course.
