In this sewing course for beginners and advanced students, you will learn to make clothes independently.
Are you looking for an inspiring sculpting course in Amstelveen? With this sculpting course you will learn step by step how to express your fantasy in wood, natural stone or clay. Sculpting is not only creative, it is also relaxing.
During this sculpting course you will learn how to shape your ideas and imagination in wood, (natural) stone or clay. Sculpting is not only creative; it also feels meditative. You work quietly with your hands and let your thoughts run free. This allows you to play with shapes and textures.
You choose a design and are given instructions on how to execute that design.
You will discover which tools suit wood, stone or clay and how to use them safely.
This sculpture course is for anyone interested in sculpting. Beginners and advanced sculptors are welcome. You do not need any experience.
Each class lasts 2.5 hours. The course consists of 10 weeks.
Clay and tools are available at Platform C.
There is no homework. You work exclusively during class.
20 % theory: brief explanation of technique, safety and equipment.
80 % practice: working on your own artwork.
The teacher provides a pleasant atmosphere in which you learn at ease. In this way, you will gain insight into the basic principles of sculpting in a pleasant way and grow at your own pace.
After ten weeks:
The teacher works with pleasure and freedom. The teacher works mainly with natural stone types and often combines it with wood. The teacher likes to share this experience with you, so that you too discover your creativity.
This sculpting course will give you the foundation to continue experimenting and developing your own style!
