Do you want to know how to make electronic music like Dubstep or House with your laptop? Have you already made some tracks and want to know how to make them sound even better? Or do you play an instrument and want to know how to record yourself and then use the computer to add a drum or keyboard part? In this course you will learn how to use the computer to create or edit your own music and how to use it for songwriting. We will work with programs such as GarageBand from Apple, Logic Pro or Ableton Live. You are also introduced to well-known plugins such as Massive or FM8. You learn how to program synthesizers and drum computers and how the most common effect devices work.
The lessons are given in the recording studio of Platform C. It is helpful if you have your own computer with a music program, but not necessary.
