This course is designed for anyone who enjoys drawing and painting. Do you want to take up drawing/painting again or have you never drawn before and would like to give it a try? Then you have come to the right place! Anyone who enjoys drawing and painting can work with pastels, ink, charcoal, conté and pencil, and acrylic paint. Each subject is accompanied by a story about a famous artist.

We will work on the "classic" themes: model, portrait and still life. With all kinds of different materials you will discover how to elaborate and portray a subject. We work with pastels, ink, charcoal, conté and pencil, and acrylic paint. Each technique or subject is introduced with a story about a well-known classical or contemporary artist. Line, form, composition, use of materials, color and contrast will be covered.
And there will also be assignments where we emphasize artistic value, by abstracting shapes and playing with color etc. The most important thing is that you enjoy drawing/painting and feel comfortable! Materials are included and course participants are of course individually supervised.
