Why working at Platform C is so much fun!

Working at Platform C in Amstelveen is great and inspiring because you are part of a creative and lively environment. We offer courses in music, dance, Dutch, theater and visual arts. Especially for young people we have Lab C, where they can discover their passion and talents. We are also active in education and within the social domain. Together with various partners, we ensure that people of all ages can participate in cultural activities.

You will work in a dedicated team of 25 office colleagues (working from home is also possible and allowed) and more than 80 professional instructors who deliver our courses and classes. We work together based on our three core values:

Current Vacancy(s)

Administrative & support assistant (0.6 fte)

As an administration & support assistant, you will handle course administration in a course administration system. You process registrations, mutations and cancellations, coordinating internally with colleagues. You also maintain contact with (parents of) our students. You perform administrative tasks to support the lesson programs. You assist the management and the MT with secretarial work and help to implement regulations and procedures. In short, as an employee administration & support you have a key role within our organization.

Employee Service & Information (15 hours on average) 

As employee Service & Information You will be part of the operations department. At the reception desk are you the first point of contact for our visitors and the face of our organization, zow by phone, email and at the counter itself. You provide information and refers where necessary. Your Performs support work, such as in the area of course administration, roomrental and your assistt At open days and other recruitment activities. In doing so, you will work closely with colleagues in the operations department and finance & control. In short, a diverse and dynamic set of tasks in which it is important that you can switch quickly.

Pianist (volunteer)

Are you an experienced pianist and would you enjoy accompanying young musicians? Do you have an hour free on Wednesday afternoons and would you like to contribute to the musical development of young talents on violin and cello? Then join us and play with our string orchestra!

What are we looking for?

  • A pianist with experience accompanying musicians
  • Regular availability (1-2 times per month) on Wednesday afternoons between: 2:30pm and 3:30pm (first string orchestra) and 4:00pm and 5:15pm (second string orchestra)
  • Willingness to help on a voluntary basis
