The annual New Year's reception was held at Amstelveen's Town Hall, where Platform C impressed with an enchanting musical program. Platform C's team was represented. Madeleine (director-director), Elze (program leader leisure offerings), and Pieter-Jan (coordinator music dance theater) enjoyed a beautiful evening.
The mayor opened with Platform C
Mayor Tjapko Poppens opened his speech with the words: "You must have noticed the number of young people present. They are here, of course, because of their interest in the New Year speech ... but these students from Platform C are also here mainly to offer you a wonderful musical program. Great to have you here! Please give them a hearty round of applause..."
A musical program of students
The evening began with a rendition of classical compositions, followed by pop and jazz sounds after 8 p.m. Led by Laetitia Leemans, Marcel Blom, Violaine Delplanque, Stephanus Harsono and the band members of "Misses T.J," with Siebe Lekanne Deprez, the students of Platform C brought a festive atmosphere to the Town Hall. They gave the guests an extra festive and enjoyable evening, as evidenced by the many nice reactions that evening. Worth repeating!
