From September 22, 2025, a new series of CultuurKabaal lessons will start in four neighborhoods in Amstelveen: Bankras, Groenelaan, Keizer Karelpark and Middenhoven. Children aged 6 to 12 can participate in creative and musical activities in their neighborhood. The program is varied and suits different ages and interests.
Each class series consists of 10 lessons and is taught after school at a community center or cultural venue in the neighborhood. Each location has different offerings. For example, children can choose from DJ classes, Streetdance, Animation & Programming, Singer-songwriter, Arts & Crafts and Acting classes, among others. The goal of CultuurKabaal is to introduce children to art and culture in an accessible way.

Why participate in CultureKabaal?
CultureKabaal encourages children to discover and develop their creativity. By organizing classes in their own neighborhood, the program is easily accessible and familiar. In addition, the teachers work with small groups so that each child receives personal attention. The lessons are accessible, playful and educational.
