He wrote a thick novel about his most famous pupil, Goldberg (2015, shortlisted for the ECI Literature Prize) and made the popular podcast Bach to the bone. In a series of three lectures, he tries to find out what kind of man the greatest composer of all time was, how his reputation grew and what happened to his mortal remains.
