Singing is the basis of making music. By singing yourself you experience the heartbeat in the music and you learn different rhythms and melodies. To feel this even better, we move a lot to music, do all kinds of games with music and play small percussion instruments (the so-called Orff instruments). You will learn the basic musical skills and knowledge as you go along, so that after a year you can immediately start playing the instrument of your choice. The Basic Course is a perfect first step towards a lot of musical pleasure.
Part of the course is an introduction to all the instruments you can learn to play at Platform C. And to top it all off: during two weekend days in March-April you will get try-out lessons on at least 4 different instruments, the so-called 'instrument carrousel'.
