In the past - in the Renaissance and Baroque periods - a great deal of beautiful music was written for the recorder, but also in contemporary music this instrument can be heard more and more often. The recorder has a beautiful, clear sound and a large family, with as many as nine different instruments. Together in an ensemble it sounds heavenly. So there is plenty to do and much beauty to enjoy if you choose the recorder!

It is also possible, in consultation with the teacher, to buy extra lesson time to play together in a trio or quartet, in addition to the regular lessons. A lot of repertoire has been written for this and it is a wonderful way to work even more effectively on ensemble playing and tone production. For a short example click here.
After your application is completed, the instructor will contact you about the class day and class time. Grading is done on the basis of equal age and level. Sometimes the interest is so great that we unfortunately have to work with a waiting list. This course starts after the summer vacations.
