Do you want to learn to play the flute? Or do you want to get better at your instrument? At Platform C in Amstelveen you are welcome for flute lessons. Whether you are a beginner or already experienced, you will be taught at your level.
Playing the flute is not only good for your musical development, but also for your breathing and posture. In class you will work on rhythm, singing and music sense. We do cooperative games and use music methods such as those of Kodály and Edwin Gordon (MLT). You learn not only to read notes, but most of all to feel and experience music.
To play a wind instrument such as the flute, your breathing is very important. You will learn how to breathe and how your body plays a role in this.

You need a flute of your own. Don't have one yet? No problem, the teacher is happy to give advice on purchasing one.
Yes, practicing at home is important! Try to play for 10 to 20 minutes every day. That way you will notice progress.
Take flute lessons according to your own needs, abilities and interests. Through assignments, skills are learned and improved. We listen to each other and thus learn from each other. Through practical exercises you always learn the theory as well
After the course, you will be able to play the flute more confidently. You will have knowledge of breathing, posture and music sense.
