Platform C's Adult Project Orchestra in Amstelveen stands for learning and playing music together in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Started in the 2013-2014 course year, the orchestra offers adult students and adults in general with at least three years of lessons the opportunity to play together in an orchestra. Each course year is worked in three different nine-week blocks. Each block has its own theme.

Project 1

Period: Sept. 27 to Nov. 29 (With the exception of Oct. 25)
Led by Robert Baas & Irma Bouwmeester
Theme: 10 years of adult project orchestra! This is the 10th season of the adult project orchestra. This block we are going to repackage several old pieces and renew them to the current orchestra line-up, looking at the wishes of the orchestra players. Exactly what it is going to be is going to form over the next few months, but in any case it is going to be a very varied program.

Period: Jan. 10 to March 13 (With the exception of Feb. 21)

Project 3

Period: March 27 to June 5 (With the exception of May 1 and 8)

Theme: Gershwin meets Bernstein
