The transverse flute has an enchanting, clear sound. Because the instrument is too heavy for young children, this preparatory course plays on a so-called NUVO flute. This flute is somewhat smaller and lighter and therefore easier to play. The fingerings are the same as those of the flute.
We play by ear for the first year. By first singing songs and then playing the flute, the children become familiar with the fingerings. Thus, by the end of the first year they can already play a lot of songs. Music games appeal to the imagination and develop all the necessary musical skills.
This course is a good preparation for flute lessons (ages 7 and up).
After your application is completed, the instructor will contact you about the class day and class time. Grading is done on the basis of equal age and level. Sometimes the interest is so great that we unfortunately have to work with a waiting list. This course starts after the summer vacations.
