Right from the first lesson, our violinist gets to hold a real violin. And that is what we are going to play on. First we play the loose strings with the bow. If that is successful, the left hand is added. The fingers of the left hand learn to do their work smoothly and relaxed. Then it is a small step to the first song, alone and together with others. What the song looks like in musical notation is addressed next. Through music games, we work on hearing and the sense of rhythm, learn to use the imagination and to handle the instrument properly.
This course is a good preparation for violin lessons (ages 7 and up).
After your application is completed, the instructor will contact you regarding class day and time. Grading is done on the basis of equal age and level. Sometimes the interest is so great that we unfortunately have to work with a waiting list. This course starts after the summer vacations.
