Summer is upon us and at Platform C we have arrived at the final weeks of this course year. We look back on a creative and inspiring season. After the summer we are ready for you again with a fresh and diverse range of courses for young and old, from music and dance to visual arts, theater and language. Whether you want to try something new or deepen your knowledge: there is something for everyone. What do you want to learn?

Music
From first musical discovery to deepening your knowledge of an instrument: at Platform C you can grow at any level. For the youngest there are the courses Music with babies and toddlers (0-2.5 years), Music and Movement (2.5-3 years) and Playful Music (ages 4-5). Children ages 4-6 can be introduced to instruments such as recorder, cello and transverse flute in the preparatory instrument classes.
Older children and adults can choose from annual courses that include cello, accordion, recorder, clarinet, transverse flute, harp and oboe. There are also DJ classes for children, youth and adults. Do you like to sing? Then join the Zonnestein Choir or Children's choir Orion (ages 6-12). Adults who enjoy playing together are welcome to join the Adults Project Orchestra whether it Project Orchestra Harp.
We also offer a basic music course for children and for adults.
Theater
For theater lovers, Platform C offers a continuous learning line for children. It introduces them to theater (ages 6 to 8), develop their theatrical skills (8 to 10 years old) and deepen their theatrical talents (10 to 12 years old).
New is our theater course for young people ages 14 through 18. These classes take place at the inspiring location of Theater The Landing. In the course you will work together on a short performance that you will eventually perform in front of an audience. A great opportunity to develop your creativity and gain stage experience.
Dance
Young children can start with preparatory ballet lessons, kindergarten dance or kidsdance. Older children's choices include jazz street dance or, for those who already have experience and are over 12, the course Ballet on pointe.
For adults, there is ballet at every level: from beginning to semi-advanced and advanced.
Visual arts
Discover your creativity and make something beautiful. Next season we will start new courses, such as make clothes for children (10-13 years) and a sewing course for adults. You will learn to design, make, modify and repair clothing.
For creative children, there are the Drawing and painting talent class and the new Talent Class Letter Drawing, in which to work with stencils, stamps and typography.
Furthermore, you can come to us for courses watercolor, sculpting and a drawing course around model, portrait and still life. In the open studioyou work freely, with guidance from a teacher.
Dutch
For internationals, we offer Dutch language courses at any level, from A0 to C1. Our method is aimed at people with a theoretical or academic background. The lessons are practice-oriented and classroom-based, with additional activities to help students get to know the Dutch language and culture, such as a Dutch pub quiz.
Are you going to start learning the Dutch language? Then you can join right away. Do you already have some experience? Then we start with a personal intake, so you can start at the right level.
