In Schouwburg Amstelveen, alderman for care & welfare Marijn van Ballegooyen will open the photo exhibition 'Pearls of Amstelveen' on Friday, October 28, 4:30 p.m. In this exhibition, portrait photographer Charlotte Brand shows residents of three nursing homes in Amstelveen shining like pearls. The idea for this portrait series was one of the submissions as part of the project KickASS. Read here more about the exhibit.
