On the initiative of Jeanny Beerkens, cello teacher and string orchestra leader Passionato Strings, an orchestra weekend took place on the weekend of March 17-20 in an old villa in Aerdenhout. During this weekend, orchestra– and group rehearsals held under led by teachers from Platform C and outside. On Saturday, a string quartet from the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music performed. The weekend ended on sonday concluded with a presentation to parents. The goal of the weekend, in addition to working on the quality of the orchestra, was to strengthen the group spirit and increase the involvement of the participants. From the enthusiastic reactions and photos, it can be seen that this goal was achieved! Thanks to everyone who contributed to this.
