The popular culture program CultuurKabaal is starting up again with a brand new series of courses for children ages 6 to 12. In September 2024, the season will begin in the Bankras, Groenelaan, Keizer Karelpark and Middenhoven neighborhoods. Parents can enroll their children in one of the many creative and educational classes.
With a diverse range of activities including DJ classes, Streetdance, Animation & Programming, Arts & Crafts, and acting classes, there is something for every child to explore. The courses are specifically designed to encourage creativity, technique and self-expression in young participants.
Locations, courses and start dates
Bankras, Alleman neighborhood center
Courses begin on Sept. 23 and 24, 2024. Various creative and technical workshops will be offered, including Arts & Crafts, Streetdance, and Animation & Programming.
Groenelaan, De Bolder community center
Courses start on September 24, 2024. In this district, you can participate in Streetdance, Arts & Crafts, and DJ classes.
Keizer Karelpark, SAKB KunstLokaal & Museum JAN
Courses begin on Sept. 23, 2024. Here you can choose from Streetdance, Acting, and Arts & Crafts.
Middenhoven, Ontmoetingscentrum De Meent
Courses will begin September 23 and 24, 2024. DJ classes, Streetdance, and Arts & Crafts will be offered in Middenhoven.
The courses consist of 10 lessons and cost €66 per series, with a reduced rate of €46 for Amstelveen Pass holders. Parents who cannot pay the tuition fee can easily apply for a subsidy. You do this by emailing "subsidy" to 06-1661-6951.

Registration can be done through the registration link or by sending an app to 06-16616951 with the child's name, location, desired course and age. Registration closes on Sept. 23, 2024.
