Platform C announces a week full of art, music and culture! From May 27 to June 1 we offer a program full of workshops, public rehearsals and, to top it all off, a fantastic open day with lots to see and do. During this special open week we would love to show you what we have to offer and give you a taste of the various courses we offer.

Monday
- Singing along with choir (16:30 - 17:15) - Come let your voice be heard and experience the fun of singing together.
- Opening visual exhibition (18:00) - Join us for the grand opening of Platform C's open week with an inspiring exhibition of visual work!
Tuesday
- Rehearsal big band (20:15 - 21:15) - Are you ready for a musical thrill? Then come to the open rehearsal of our Big Band, PeeWee's Problem!
- Public lesson talent class (16:00 - 17:30) - Are you between 6 and 12 years old and love drawing and painting? Then come to our open class of the Talent Class! (registration required)
Wednesday
- String orchestra rehearsals (2:30 - 5:15 p.m.) - During Platform C's open week, come to rehearsals of our string orchestras and experience beautiful music of violin, cello and double bass.
- Wind ensemble rehearsal (19:00 – 19:45) - Are you curious about how a wind ensemble sounds and operates? Then come by for our Wind Ensemble's open rehearsal!
- Rehearsal Adult Project Orchestra (8:30 - 9:30 p.m.) - We cordially invite you to come watch, listen and experience the fun of watching this orchestra play.
- Open lesson visual arts adults (15:00 - 17:00) - During this class you will meet the instructor and students, and be able to view work by previous students.
Thursday
- Rehearsals Guitar Ensembles (16:05 – 18:45) - Are you curious to see what multiple guitars sound like together? Then come check out our guitar ensembles!
- Open Class: Jazz/Streetdance (5:45 - 7:45 p.m.) - Feel like swinging? Try it now with no obligation during the Open Class Jazz/Streetdance!
- Pub quiz Dutch for expats (19:00 - 21:30) - Test your knowledge of Dutch at the Pub Quiz Dutch for Expats!
- Workshops Lab C, discover fashion design, podcast, film and DJ & beats (5 p.m. - 8 p.m.) - Lab C opens its doors and invites you to explore your talents and passions.
Friday
- Passionato Strings rehearsal and Cello group rehearsal (5:30 - 8:00 p.m.) - Led by conductor Jeanny Beerkens, these orchestras play a varied program of their own compositions, arrangements and well-known classical pieces.
- Workshops Lab C, discover fashion design, podcast, film and DJ & beats (5 p.m. - 8 p.m.) - Lab C opens its doors and invites you to explore your talents and passions.
Saturday
- Open day of Platform C (14:00 - 17:00) - On June 1, 2024 Platform C opens its doors to everyone during Platform C's Open Week! Discover all that Platform C has to offer in the field of art and culture during this festive Open Day! Among others:
- Various workshops and drop-in classes including talent class, drama/theater, ballet and 3D printing
- Lab C, discover fashion design, podcast, film and DJ & beats
- Various performances in the Zonestein Hall
- Walk-in music rooms - Try an instrument!
